We are all stoked to see Byerly team rider and Canadian boy Aaron rathy regain some of his top form as he placed second at the Monroe, WA stop on the PWT tour.
“It was good to be in a final and on the podium again,” commented Rathy. “I got my first podium here in the Northwest a few years ago in Portland and it felt good to be back up there. It’s pretty close to my hometown on Vancouver Island so my parents and family were able to come down and watch. It was a pretty sick final with Harley, Bob [Soven], Phil, Dean [Smith] and Andrew. I was first off the dock and I put down a really good run and put the pressure on the everybody. In the end it was good enough for second. I’m just stoked to get some points on the board and get some momentum for the rest of the year.”
